THE LIST is an exclusive, community-driven mobile app for places and social discovery. It connects members with the trendiest venues and like-minded people in their city through a private club-style network. Members can share and discover what is happening at bars, clubs, lounges, and events in real time, receive personalized recommendations based on an AI-powered algorithm that learns their preferences, and build their reputation within the community through their “Cultural Profile.” Active participation can also help members unlock perks, VIP invitations, and greater recognition within the community.

The project involved developing a location-aware social discovery platform that connects venue intelligence, member networking, real-time messaging, personalized recommendations, and daily planning. The mobile and backend experiences support profiles, venues, events, check-ins, social connections, messaging, recommendations, and engagement data. The project includes location-based functionality, third-party integrations, Stripe payments and Credit management, and AWS infrastructure setup. The platform follows a curated, invitation-only membership model designed to maintain the quality and exclusivity of the community.
