To modernize its operations, OTS implemented a web and mobile-based application that replaces its legacy Access-based system. It enables users to efficiently manage work orders, automate billing based on client-specific tariff structures, perform inspections and pre-inspections, track inventory in real-time, and generate EDI files for invoicing. Mobile app allows mechanics to create work orders and seek on-site approvals, while an integrated payroll module automates mechanic compensation based on completed tasks. The project’s ultimate goal was to streamline and digitize OTS’s core workflows, improving operational efficiency, billing accuracy, and field productivity.
